NIGHT VISION VS THERMAL

What is the difference between night vision and thermal imaging?

Night vision amplifies available light such as moonlight or infrared illumination to create a visible image. It works best when some ambient light is present.

Thermal imaging detects heat signatures emitted by objects and creates an image based on temperature differences, allowing detection in complete darkness.

Both technologies are used in hunting and tactical environments but serve different purposes depending on terrain and conditions.
